PSHE is taught in all year groups and focuses on key areas such as family, friendships and relationships, health, living in the community, safety (including online safety) and First Aid.
Sex education is taught in Years 5 and 6. Parents are always welcome to discuss any concerns they may have in the way sex education is presented to the children. Parents can withdraw their children from all or part of the sex education provided, except that which is required as part of the Science curriculum. Please see the Relationships and Sex Education Policy for further information.
In addition to this, our PSHE lessons focus on our school behaviours (resilient, brave, respectful, kind and motivated) as well as British Values.
Long Term Plans for PSHE can be found here.
